Bruce Brown is suddenly dealing with a knee injury.

The Toronto Raptors have added the 27-year-old guard to the injury report as questionable with right knee inflammation. It's the first time he's popped up on the injury report with the injury since joining the team earlier this year.

Toronto will already have to make do without Scottie Barnes who suffered a fracture in his left hand on Friday and has been ruled out indefinitely. His loss will force the Raptors to rejig the starting lineup where Brown has previously started at times for Toronto.

Without Brown, Toronto is getting awfully thin in the backcourt. If he can't play, expect the Raptors to lean on Jordan Nwora, Javon Freeman-Liberty, or DJ Carton off the bench. Freeman-Liberty was recently signed to a standard contract and can help replace Brown as a combo guard off the bench.

Jontay Porter has been called up and will dress for the Raptors as a third backup big man alongside Kelly Olynyk and Jakob Poeltl. Olynyk briefly left Friday's game but did return for the second half.

Only Markquis Nowell remains out on a G League assignment for the Raptors.

The Hornets will be quite shorthanded as well with LaMelo Ball dealing with a right ankle injury. Seth Curry, Cody Martin, Mark Williams, and rookie Nick Smith Jr. have all been ruled out as well.

Brandon Miller has been listed as probable for Charlotte with a lower back contusion.

The Raptors are -7.5 point favorites with an implied win probability of 75%.
