The Toronto Raptors aren’t expected to be done trading quite yet.

On the heels of moving OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks, Toronto is reportedly expected to “continue to explore trades” involving Pascal Siakam, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Siakam, like Anunoby, is heading into unrestricted free agency this summer and his future with Toronto seems very much in question.

The Raptors had reportedly spoken to multiple teams about deals involving Siakam over the summer. The Atlanta Hawks have most often been connected to the former All-NBA forward as have the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings.

The Anunoby deal does create more cost certainty for the Raptors as they’ve acquired RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley in the deal. Quickley will be a restricted free agent in the summer while Barrett is in the first year of a four-year, $107 million contract.

It’s possible Toronto will now look to keep Siakam in the summer or at the very least can bluff that it’s an option in order to create leverage ahead of the Feb. 8 trade deadline. He will likely get a max contract offer in the summer worth upward of $40 million a deal. It’s unlikely he becomes supermax eligible as he likely won’t make an All-NBA team this season.

Gary Trent Jr. is likely the other player to keep an eye on as he heads into unrestricted free agency this summer as well. It’s unclear where his value sits, though, as he’s amid a down season this year.
