Raptors Look to Avoid Disaster vs Pistons: Where To Watch, Injury Reports, & More
The Toronto Raptors will look to avoid a disastrous loss to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night: Where to watch, injury reports, and more
In this story:
The most anticipated game of the season has arrived.
The Toronto Raptors will head to Detroit on Saturday night for a 6 p.m. ET tipoff against a Pistons team looking to avoid an NBA-record 29 straight losses.
Where to Watch
TSN and the FAN 590 will broadcast for Toronto. Bally Sports Detroit and WWJ Newsradio 950 will call the game for Detroit.
What to Watch For
- The Raptors will be on the second night of a back-to-back after a hard-fought loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday. If Detroit is going to win a game anytime soon, Toronto is ripe to be picked off on the road and exhausted. Nobody wants to be the team to lose to the Pistons and the Raptors need to be on red alert for an upset.
- Scottie Barnes nailed a career-high seven three-pointers against the Celtics, attempting 15 shots from behind the arc. It was an impressive showing from the third-year guard who had been a bad three-point shooter before this year. He can't become too reliant on that shot, though, and 3-for-9 inside the arc shouldn't be the standard for someone with Barnes' size.
- Toronto's rotations have seemingly given everyone an opportunity lately and at this point, it's completely unclear who is coming off the bench at any given time. The Raptors are trying to ride the hot hand, but who that hot player is seems to be changing from game to game or quarter to quarter.
Injury Reports
Toronto has not released its injury report but the rotation is expected to be fully healthy.
Monte Morris and Isaiah Stewart will be out for Detroit.
Game Odds
The Raptors are -5.5 point favorites with an implied win probability of 65.5%. The total for the game is 229.5.
