The Toronto Raptors have returned home from their West Coast road trip and now have a date with the Boston Celtics scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET Monday night.

Where to Watch

TSN and the FAN 590 will air the game for Toronto. NBC Sports Boston and 98.5 The Sports Hub will broadcast for Boston.

What to Watch For

  • This will be a measuring-stick game for Toronto against the NBA's very best team this season. Boston comes in as a heavy favorite and while the Raptors may not win Monday's game, just staying competitive would be a meaningful sign of growth for a still-developing Raptors group.
  • Toronto's defense has fallen off a ton since the start of the new year and Boston has been among the league's most lethal offenses all year. The Raptors can't let the Celtics to shoot the lights out and get comfortable from behind the arc. It won't be easy, but Toronto's defense has to take a step forward or things could get ugly.
  • Another game without Jakob Poeltl means more playing time for Jontay Porter who could be in line for a start on Monday after he started the second half against Utah on Friday night. Porter has been a solid rotation player for Toronto so far and he might even be a better matchup defensively against the Celtics than Poeltl.

Injury Reports

Toronto remains without Poeltl, Otto Porter Jr., and Christian Koloko.

Boston has listed Jaylen Brown as questionable.

Game Odds

The Raptors are +7.5 point underdogs with an implied win probability of 29.4%. The total for the game is 242.5.
