O.G. Anunoby Remains Without a Timeline For Return
O.G. Anunoby is going to be out for at least a little while longer.
The 25-year-old Toronto Raptors forward remains without a timetable for a return this season having suffered a left wrist sprain late last month against the Golden State Warriors.
Anunoby returned for light on-court work but has yet to be cleared for contact activities, the team said. He'll be ruled out for Sunday afternoon's game against the Detroit Pistons.
Toronto has gone 4-3 without Anunoby since he suffered the injury. It's forced the team to slide Precious Achiuwa into the starting lineup playing alongside Gary Trent Jr., Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and Scottie Barnes.
Anunoby is averaging 16.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 45.7% from the floor and 36.6% from three-point range.
