What to Watch For
- It's the regular season! These games finally matter and all the talk about better chemistry, better ball movement, and a more conservative defense will be on display. It won't necessarily be a well-oiled machine to start the year, but Toronto is hoping its transition attack can carry the team while the half-court offense continues to develop.
- Scottie Barnes had a brilliant preseason for the Raptors are Toronto is hoping that'll carry over this year. He's healthy and ready to go for Game 1 and he's expected to be a much bigger part of the offense this year. There's been a lot of talk about his left-handed dribbling, so keep an eye on his improvement there.

- Toronto's turnovers have been a tad alarming in the preseason. While the team did rank No. 2 in assists, they also ranked No. 2 in preseason turnovers. The Raptors are hoping they can be a top-10 assist team this year without being a top-10 turnover team. They'll have to do a better job of balancing that equation Wednesday.
Injury Reports
Toronto will be at full strength with the exception of Christian Koloko.
Jaylen Clark and Jaden McDaniels will be out for the Timberwolves.
Game Odds
The Raptors are +1.5 point underdogs against the Timberwolves. The total for the game is 222.
