Scotiabank Arena will be getting a facelift.

Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment announced a $350 million renovation to the home of the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs, the company said in a press release. The exact specifics of the renovation have yet to be announced but it will include “capital improvements to almost all areas within the venue including concourses, suites, premium clubs, retail spaces, food and beverage offerings, state-of-the-art technological innovations and more.”

More information about the “Scotiabank Arena Venue Reimagination” project will be forthcoming Tuesday. So far, renovations made over the summer include changes to the 200 Level and the Just Walk Out marketplaces. Changes will continue next summer in the 100 Level concourse, according to MLSE.

The arena underwent previous renovations in 2015 when MLSE invested $10 million in a new scoreboard for the building. Prior to that, there was $5 million invested to upgrade the arena with LED signage in 2003.

This investment will be the largest renovation done to the arena since its initial construction in 1999. The arena initially was built for $288 million.

The Raptors will return to Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 15 for their first preseason game in Toronto. The season will officially tip off at home on Oct. 25 when the Raptors play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
