The lack of news regarding Christian Koloko is becoming somewhat alarming as the preseason continues for the Toronto Raptors.

The 7-foot center has now been sidelined with respiratory issues since before Summer League in July. He remains out indefinitely and when asked for more clarity on the issue and if it could be a long-term issue, Raptors coach Darko Rajakvić declined to comment, preferring to keep the situation vague.

As for the rest of the group, Precious Achiuwa returned to workouts as he continues to deal with a left groin strain. He was seen shooting during the open-to-media portion of Wednesday’s practice.

“Doing much better,” Rajaković said of Achiuwa. “He did a great job in treatments, in the weight room. So, he is progressing really well.”

It sounds like the strain isn’t expected to be a long-term issue.

As for Otto Porter Jr., the team continues to take it slow with the oft-injured 30-year-old wing. Porter missed all of last season with a toe injury and is still being worked back into the swing of things.

“Today was the day he played 3-on-3 live against some younger guys on the roster. He did really well today. So hopefully we're going to see him in the preseason,” Rajaković said.

Otherwise, the Raptors appear to be at full strength, having returned home from Vancouver with their next preseason game scheduled for Sunday against the Cairns Taipans of Australia’s National Basketball League.
