Raptors Reportedly Sign G League Standout to Two-Way Deal
Mouhamadou Gueye is up with the big club.
The Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed the 6-foot-9 forward to a two-way contract with a corresponding move yet to be announced, per Shams Charania.
Gueye had been up with the Raptors earlier this season on a 10-day contract before heading back down to the G League where he’s spent most of this year with the Raptors 905.
The 25-year-old is averaging 14.4 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 56% from the field in 34 G League games this season.
Gueye will take one of Toronto’s three two-way spots. The Raptors have had those spots filled by DJ Carton, Jontay Porter, and Markquis Nowell and will have to make a roster move with at least one of those players to accommodate Gueye.
The team has not yet announced the signing.
