The future of the Toronto Raptors rests on the luck of Bobby Webster.

Webster will represent the team at Tuesday’s NBA Draft Lottery where Toronto has a 1% chance to land the No. 1 pick in next month’s NBA Draft.

Toronto has gotten lucky in the past, moving from the No. 7 spot in the draft lottery to the No. 4 spot in the 2021 NBA Draft. The Raptors were represented by Fred VanVleet that year and eventually selected Scottie Barnes with the No. 4 pick.

The Raptors will enter the lottery as the 13th seed with a 92.9% chance of selecting thirteenth in the draft. There’s a 2.3% they fall behind New Orleans and select at No. 14.

Toronto can only move into the top-four with a 1% chance of landing Victor Wembanyama, the presumptive No. 1 pick in the draft. There’s a 1.1% chance the team selects No. 2, a 1.2% chance the Raptors land the No. 3 pick, and a 1.4% chance they select at No. 4. In total, there’s a 4.8% chance Toronto moves into the top-four in the draft.

The Charlotte Hornets will be represented by Mark Williams, the Chicago Bulls will be represented by Dalen Terry, the Dallas Mavericks by Nico Harris, the Detroit Pistons by Ben Wallace, the Houston Rockets by Ime Udoka, the Indiana Pacers by Tyrese Haliburton, the New Orleans Pelicans by David Griffin, the Oklahoma City Thunder by Nick Collins, the Orlando Magic by Jamahl Mosely, the Portland Trail Blazers by Brandon Roy, the San Antonio Spurs by Pete Holt, the Utah Jazz by Collin Sexton, and the Washington Wizards by Wes Unseld Jr.

Toronto will be represented by VP of Basketball Operations Teresa Resch in the NBA’s draft lottery drawing room off-stage.

The lottery will be held at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday night.
