Darryl Morsell last roughly six hours as an official member of the Toronto Raptors.

Toronto has waived Morsell who was signed to an Exhibit 10 deal earlier in the day Friday. The organization will now retain his rights for their G League team, the Raptors 905, for this season.

Morsell had been signed after the Raptors waived Kevin Obanor earlier in the week.

Now Toronto’s roster is back down to 19 and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Raptors continued to churn through Exhibit 10 contracts as they sign and waive players to fill out the 905 roster.

Morsell, 24, was a member of Toronto’s Summer League team, averaging 7.3 points with 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists across four games for the Raptors. He previously spent last season with the 905 where he averaged 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 42.9% from the floor and 24% from behind the arc.

Toronto’s training camp roster will include Markquis Nowell, Javon Freeman-Liberty, and Ron Harper Jr. on two-way contracts. Jeff Dowtin Jr. is the lone player on a traditional non-guaranteed deal ahead of training camp.
