Raptors Wrap Up Road Schedule vs. Celtics: Where to Watch, Injury Reports, & Odds
The Toronto Raptors will take on the Boston Celtics in the penultimate game of the season: Where to watch, injury reports, & odds
In this story:
Game 81 has arrived as the Toronto Raptors wrap up their road schedule on Friday night against the Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Where to Watch
Sportsnet and TSN 1050 will air the game for Toronto. NBC Sports and 98.5 The Sports Hub will broadcast for Boston.
What to Watch For
- The Raptors need to win out and have the Atlanta Hawks lose out in order to make the eighth seed in the East. At this point, though, that seems extremely unlikely. Boston doesn't appear to be taking its foot off the gas pedal despite having the No. 2 seed locked up. That could change closer to tipoff.
- Toronto needs Gary Trent Jr. to get back in a groove before the play-in tournament after a disappointing showing Wednesday night against the Celtics. He'd been battling an elbow injury and back spasms but the Raptors don't have much time for him to ramp up ahead of next week's postseason.
- Fred VanVleet jammed his thumb Wednesday night and didn't look himself, shooting just 1-for-12 from behind the arc. The Raptors can't afford to have VanVleet at anything less than 100% as they head into the postseason.
Injury Reports
Toronto will be without Otto Porter. Jr and Jeff Dowtin Jr.
The Celtics have listed Marcus Smart, Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon, and Payton Pritchard as questionable. Danilo Gallinari is out.
Game Odds
The Raptors are +2.5 point underdogs with an implied win probability of 46.7%. The total for the game is 222.5.
