Houston Rockets LISTEN: Tari Eason Leads the Way in Win vs. Memphis Grizzlies

In the latest episode of the "Kiss of Death Podcast," Michael Brown and his father recap the Houston Rockets' win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets are now winners of four straight games after beating the Memphis Grizzlies 117-104 on Wednesday night at the Toyota Center.

While the Rockets struggled on the offensive end of the floor for the second straight game, the defense picked up the slack. It's the fifth straight game the Rockets have held their opponent to under 110 points. Among those helping out in that department is second-year forward Tari Eason, who notched a pair of career-highs with 25 points and 14 rebounds.

The Browns talk about Eason's impact coming off the bench, which marked his second straight double-double of leading the team in points and rebounds. In Monday's win over the San Antonio Spurs, Eason recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Eason is becoming a tremendous asset for the Rockets in his second season. Last year, you could sense that Eason had the potential to be a key part of the rebuild. Now, he's only solidifying it. He's proven to be someone who can take over games and could very well be Houston's secret weapon.

Rockets' Tari Eason Continues His Dominance vs. Grizzlies

Eason is averaging 8.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, but those numbers could grow if he is given more playing time, and based on how he's played the past two games, he is more than deserving of the opportunity.

Eason and the Rockets face the Grizzlies in a rematch on Friday in Memphis. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at FedEx Forum.
