Houston Rockets LISTEN: Cause for Concern After 0-3 Start?

In the latest episode of the "Kiss of Death Podcast," Michael Brown and I discuss how much fans should be concerned over the Houston Rockets' 0-3 start.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets are still winless after a 106-95 loss in their home opener on Sunday night against their rival Golden State Warriors.

The Rockets were trailing by as much as 16 in the second half before storming all the way back to even take a brief lead in the fourth quarter. However, prime Stephen Curry entered the chat and beat the Rockets in a film people have seen many times over.

The Rockets are now one of just four teams (along with the Portland Trail Blazers, Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets) to remain winless through six days of the season. But should the Rockets and their fans be concerned?

In the latest episode of the "Kiss of Death Podcast," Michael Brown and I discuss how much fans should be concerned over the Houston Rockets' 0-3 start.

The Rockets are expected to be an improved team with the additions of Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks along with the new guidance from coach Ime Udoka, but it hasn't shown up in the wins yet.

That being said, the Rockets have proven to look like a different team given the eye test. There's a little more cohesion in what the team is doing compared to the past two years. However, it could take a little more time to crack down since the team has little chemistry with one another and experience playing in Udoka's system.

On top of that, playing without Tari Eason and Jock Landale has hurt the team's interior defense, one of the biggest trouble spots for the Rockets thus far.

While there are no moral victories in the NBA, the Rockets look improved, and the wins will come. There's still 79 chances to get a couple in.
