Rockets LISTEN: Schedule Breakdown, Record Predictions

The Houston Rockets schedule is out and it's time to predict how they will finish in the standings.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets schedule is officially out and the team can start marking their calendars for the most important dates and games.

Among the key moments in the schedule includes the home opener on Oct. 25 on the road against the Orlando Magic, a New Year's Day game against the Detroit Pistons where twins Amen and Ausar Thompson could play each other for the first time and an MLK Day game against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.

On the latest episode of the "Kiss of Death Podcast," Michael Brown and I break down the schedule in phases and predict what the Rockets' record could look like at season's end.

The Rockets will open the season with two road games against the Magic and San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 25 and 27. They will host their home opener on Oct. 29 against the Golden State Warriors, marking the start of a seven-game homestand that will run through Nov. 12 ... giving Houston a massive opportunity to tack on some wins early in the season.

From there, the schedule gets a little more difficult, but the Rockets are expected to improve from their 22-60 mark from a year ago.
