Rockets vs. Warriors Summer League Preview: How To Watch, Lineups, More
The 3-0 Houston Rockets will continue their 2023 NBA Summer League tournament Thursday night against the 0-3 Golden State Warriors inside the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Rockets will attempt to win their fourth consecutive game behind second-year undrafted free agent Trevor Hudgins. He led the Rockets to a 105-92 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder with 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting and seven assists.
"Just come out and be aggressive," Hudgins said. "Come out and control the game and be willing to take shots. They believe in my shot. I believe in my shot. I just need to keep shooting like I did today, and they will eventually fall. They did today and I am happy about that."
Four players scored in double-figures for Houston, but Matthew Mayer had the second-most impressive performance. The rookie forward from Illinois recorded a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
The Warriors are riding a three-game losing streak during the Las Vegas Summer League tournament. During their previous game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors fell 98-96 in overtime Wednesday night.
Lester Quinones led Golden State with 31 points, while Reggie Perry added 20 off the bench.
