The Houston Rockets won their second consecutive Summer League contest Sunday evening in a 113-101 victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Inside the Thomas & Mack Center, Jabari Smith Jr. put on an encore performance as a follow-up to Friday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Smith led the Rockets with a game-high 38 points on 13-of-25 shooting, seven rebounds and six assists.

As a result of holding two 30-point performances, Smith is currently averaging 35.5 points to help the Rockets improve to 2-0 in Las Vegas.

But Smith's significant play against the Pistons was not a one-man show. Tari Eason continued his impressive Summer League play by adding 26 points (12-25 FG), nine rebounds and two blocks.

Rookie Cam Whitmore set an early tone that led to Houston's blowout victory. Whitmore scored the Rockets' first two baskets and finished the game with 24 points in 29 minutes.

Pistons' Jalen Duren scored a team-best 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Jalen Ivery added 22 points and 10 assists in the loss. James Wiseman was the third Piston to record a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Following the win, the Rockets will try to improve to 3-0 in Summer League play Tuesday afternoon in a contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tip-off is slated for 5:30 P.M. CT inside the Thomas 7 Mack Center.
