Rockets Trade Idea: Kevin Porter Jr. to Celtics, Josh Green to Houston?

The Houston Rockets were involved in a four-team trade proposal with the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets' rotation appears to be set, but there's one issue they may face down the line.

Kevin Porter Jr. is nearing the end of his contract at the end of the year, and the Rockets may want to find value for him before he has the chance to walk in free agency.

In a proposed trade idea by FadeawayWorld.net, the Rockets are included in a four-team blockbuster that would net them Dallas Mavericks guards Tim Hardaway Jr. and Josh Green.

Here is the entire proposal that was presented:

Dallas Mavericks Receive: Buddy Hield, Robert Williams.

Boston Celtics Receive: Kevin Porter Jr., 2028 Second-Round Pick (MIA via DAL).

Indiana Pacers Receive: Christian Wood, Payton Pritchard.

Houston Rockets Receive: Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green.

Essentially, the Rockets trade Porter Jr. to the Celtics for Hardaway Jr. and Green.

This trade appears to work for every team involved except for perhaps the Indiana Pacers, who would surely be paying Christian Wood a lot more in a sign-and-trade than what he's been offered on the open market so far this summer. The Celtics might be in that same category as well, but as good as Robert Williams can be, he gets injured a lot and could have a diminished role in Boston after the arrival of Porzingis.

For the Rockets, another veteran joins the team and Green is adding to the core of young players with a chance of being a long-term impact piece to the puzzle.
