The Houston Rockets will be looking to build off of their last game against the Detroit Pistons going into their next game against the Brooklyn Nets.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets (16-15) will play their fifth game of a seven-game homestand against the Brooklyn Nets (15-19) in the Toyota Center. The Rockets will be looking to build off of their last game against the Detroit Pistons where they snapped their three-game losing streak.

The team handled the struggling Pistons with ease, as the final score was 136-113. The Rockets controlled every aspect of the game, and the team had six different players that scored in double figures. Tari Eason finished with 17 points and three steals, as he had himself a great performance off the bench, which is becoming all too familiar.

But it was the play of Alperen Şengün that really impressed. The Turkish big man caught fire in the third quarter and finished with 26 points. He also stuffed the rest of the stat sheet as well, tallying nine assists and three steals. Performances like this are becoming routine for the big man, and the team will not object if he wants to continue this kind of play in his next game.

The Nets are coming into this game against the Rockets having lost their last four games. They also tend to struggle on the road, as they are 6-11 on the season so far as the away team. But all of this does not mean that the Rockets should underestimate them, as they still have talented players on their roster like Mikal Bridges and Cam Thomas who know how to get the job done.
