Houston Rockets vs. Charlotte Hornets Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More

The Houston Rockets will be looking to avoid extending their losing streak in their next game against the Charlotte Hornets.
In this story:

The Houston Rockets (20-23) will play in the first game of a two-game road trip on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets (10-32) in the Spectrum Center. The Rockets will be looking to avoid taking their sixth loss in the last seven games.

They lost a heartbreaker in its last game, losing to the Portland Trail Blazers 137-131 in overtime. Deandre Ayton had a great performance, scoring 18 points while leading the game in rebounding with 17 boards. But just because the Rockets lost does not mean that they were without their solid performances.

Alperen Sengun had another great game, scoring 30 points and tallying 10 rebounds and eight assists. Jalen Green also had his fair share of points, finishing with 29 on 12-24 shooting. The Rockets will need these kinds of performances in the future if they want to snap their losing streak.

While the team could look at the Hornets as an easy win, despite being on the road, they would be mistaken if they assumed that. Even though the Hornets have 10 wins on the season, their latest came against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Karl-Anthony Towns' 62-point game. The Hornets are not to be underestimated.
