Houston Rockets vs. Detroit Pistons Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More
The Houston Rockets will play the third of a six-game road trip Friday night against the Detroit Pistons inside the Little Caesars Arena.
They will attempt to bounce back after a 124-119 overtime defeat to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. Alperen Şengün led the Rockets with 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the loss. His performance against the Bulls marked the 10th game over the previous 11 he scored 20 or more points.
The Rockets held a 119-114 lead with 2:50 left in overtime after Şengün scored on a layup attempt. Unfortunately, Houston was unable to sustain its play. The Bulls finished the game on a 10-0 run.
"I knew my team needed me," Şengün said. "I knew I needed to play harder, and I did in the second half. I wasn't looking for myself or playing aggressive. When I am playing soft, I am not making shots. But in the second half, it wasn't like that."
The Pistons are coming into the game riding a six-game losing streak. They have dropped 34 of their previous 35 games.
