Houston Rockets vs. Indiana Pacers Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More
HOUSTON — After defeating the New Orleans Pelicans Saturday night, the Houston Rockets will begin a seven-game homestand inside the Toyota Center. The first opponent will be the Indiana Pacers, who are riding a two-game losing streak.
The Pacers dropped their previous game in a 117-110 defeat to the Orlando Magic. But despite the rough patch, Tyrese Haliburton is still playing at his best.
Haliburton posted 29 points and 15 assists in the loss to the Magic on Saturday night. He is now averaging 24.5 points on 41.3 percent shooting from the field, 12.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds.
Alperen Şengün led the Rockets to a 106-104 victory inside the Smoothie King Center by scoring a career-high 37 points on 11 of 21 shooting. He also added 11 rebounds and six assists.
"I'm just 21," Şengün said. "I have a long way to go. I am going to give my best every day on the court, fight and help my teammates. If it's my day, it will be my day. If it's someone else's, I am going to help them. Just taking it day by day."
