Houston Rockets vs. New Orleans Pelicans Preseason Preview: How to Watch, Lineups, Injury Report, More

In their second preseason game, is there anything coach Ime Udoka would like the Houston Rockets to focus on against the Pelicans?
In this story:

The Houston Rockets will continue their five-game preseason schedule Thursday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

After recording a 122-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers, coach Ime Udoka said there are a few things he would like the Rockets to correct inside the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, the home of the Pelicans’ G League affiliate team.

"There were some areas with our switching we had not gone over yet," Udoka said. "It had nothing to do with the players not knowing about it. But we were moving slowly. We had a chance to see it. Review it. And then go over it in practice."

Other than Dillon Brooks, who officials ejected Tuesday night, four out of the five starters played over 20 minutes against the Pacers. And Udoka will likely replicate his decision against the Pelicans.

Fred VanVleet played a game-high 25 minutes. He finished the night with 10 points (3-11 FG, 2-6 3PT), four steals and two assists. Alperen Sengun and rookie Cam Whitmore led the team in scoring with 15 points, respectively.

Udoka said Jeff Green, who missed the first game due to rest, will play against New Orleans.
