The Houston Rockets will continue their six-game road trip Monday afternoon against the Philadelphia 76ers inside the Wells Fargo Center. The Rockets are 1-3 during their current road trip after falling 145-113 to the Boston Celtics Saturday night.

The Rockets' MLK showdown against the 76ers will close their two-game regular season series. Their first meeting came during Houston's 131-127 defeat to the 76ers on Dec. 29 inside the Toyota Center.

Fred VanVleet had one of his most impressive games of the season by scoring a team-best 33 points on 9 of 16 shooting from the field, 8 of 12 from behind the arc, to go along with 10 assists.

The game featured seven lead changes and three ties in the final five minutes. Tyrese Maxey scored a game-high 42 points in the absence of current league MVP Joel Embiid.

"He's having an incredible year, so we knew that coming in," VanVleet said. "We came with a game plan. We probably didn't execute as well as we needed to.

"I thought we did a better job on him in the second half obviously. But he got off to a good start. He's a tough player to guard so it puts a lot of pressure on your defense. For the most part, I thought we were finally able to show more bodies in the second half but then the other guys made shots."
