The Houston Rockets (39-41) will play in their second-to-last game of the season on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers (21-59) at the Moda Center. The Rockets will be looking to bounce back from their last loss to the Utah Jazz. The Rockets fell 124-121 despite a pair of solid performances inside the Delta Center.

Fred VanVleet had yet another incredible game and finished with 42 points, setting a new season-high for the second night in a row. Rookie Cam Whitmore also had a solid game, finishing with 18 points shooting 4 of 8 from three off the bench.
