Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More
The Houston Rockets (39-40) will play in the first game of a three-game road trip to end the season on Thursday against the Utah Jazz (29-50). The Rockets will be looking to build off of the win in their last game against the Orlando Magic.
The team was able to get the win 118-106 and get one step closer to their first winning season since the 2019-2020. They were able to get a double-digit win over the Magic as a result of some great play from the team's stars.
Fred VanVleet led all scorers with 37 points, his highest total of this season. He also finished with eight rebounds and six assists. Jabari Smith Jr. also had a solid game, as he ended with 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
The Rockets would welcome more performances like that, because even though the team cannot make the playoffs, they are still looking to finish with a winning season. The Jazz have lost 13 games in a row, so this could be the perfect opportunity for the Rockets to end the season on a good note.
