The Houston Rockets will play the final game of their two-game road trip and close the 2022-23 campaign Sunday afternoon against the Washington Wizards inside the Capital One Arena.

The Rockets came out of the All-Star break intending to build momentum for the off-season. And ahead of their final game, Houston has achieved its goal.

Following their 112-109 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, the Rockets have won eight games since March 4, led by Jalen Green. The second-year prospect has showcased his growth as an efficient scorer. He has averaged 24.0 points shooting 43.4 points over the previous 19 games.

"I've been taking the shots my guys give me instead of forcing them all the time," Green said. "My guys have been locked in and setting screens, and we have been executing the offense well too. That has played a big role in how I've been scoring."
