NBA Power Rankings: Where Are Rockets After Alperen Sengun Injury?

The Houston Rockets have won their last two games on the road, but Alperen Sengun may be out for the year with an injury. Where does that place them in this week's power rankings?
In this story:

The Houston Rockets have been playing well as of late, winning four of their last five games -- three of which have come on the road.

However, that momentum came tumbling down in the final minute of Sunday's win against the Sacramento Kings when Alperen Sengun suffered an ankle sprain that could hold him out for the rest of the season.

Despite the team's recent success, Sengun's injury has hurt Houston's outlook for the rest of the season. That's why CBS Sports has kept the Rockets at No. 20 in this week's power rankings.

"A three-win week for the Rockets was soured by a scary injury to Alperen Sengun, who had to be wheeled off the court in Sunday's victory in Sacramento," CBS Sports writes. "The 6-foot-11 center from Turkey has been the focal point of Houston's offense all season, as they've scored 114 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor and just 106 without him. It sounds like he avoided major injury but will still miss significant time."

The Rockets will hope to stay to their winning ways when they visit the San Antonio Spurs tonight. Then, the team returns home to face the Washington Wizards (Thu.) and Cleveland Cavaliers (Sat.).
