The San Antonio Spurs are up to 25 in the loss column before the new year after falling 130-118 to the Utah Jazz at home on Tuesday night.

Those 25 losses include a franchise-worst 18-game losing streak and a current five-game skid.

While victories aren't the primary goal for Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, the losses are piling up and he may be looking to shake things up.

"I need to demand [more] from certain people," Popovich said postgame. "It's time they have to be more consistent or I make changes."

The answer from Popovich in the press conference is ambiguous. Almost everyone on a 4-25 team can play better, more consistent basketball ... even No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama, who scored just 15 points on an inefficient 6 of 15 shooting night.

The change probably isn't going to include benching Wembanyama, but things may begin to look different. San Antonio is already experimenting with some changes, moving Julian Champagnie into the starting lineup for the past two games and moving Keldon Johnson to the bench.

Champagnie Starts Hot But Spurs Fall Flat, Lose 5th Straight vs. Jazz

It seems like Johnson will remain on the bench for now, but he has the most decorated career of anyone on the Spurs with the potential of being the best player on the team most nights.

Young teams are supposed to struggle, but it gets to a point to where the struggles are mounting and the development is waning because of it. Perhaps these "changes" from Pop are exactly what the Spurs need.
