The San Antonio Spurs are heading to the state capital in Austin to host the defending champion Denver Nuggets at the Moody Center tonight.

For the second year in a row, the Spurs are playing a pair of games in Austin to help reach and appreciate that segment of the fanbase.

The Spurs hope to snap a two-game losing streak by pulling off an upset against the Nuggets, who are winners of four straight and currently occupy the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.

Jeremy Brener is an editor, writer and social media manager for several Fan Nation websites. His work has also been featured in 247 Sports and SB Nation as a writer and podcaster.
