The last time the San Antonio Spurs won the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, they selected Tim Duncan in 1997. Prior to that, they chose David Robinson first overall in 1987. Multiple championships were won thanks to both Hall-of-Famers.

Now, San Antonio is primed for another strong chance at winning the lottery and another generational talent is ready to take the NBA stage.

The Spurs are 19-56 and trail only the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets for the worst record in the league. Thankfully for them, the bottom-three teams come season's end will all receive equal odds at the top spot.

Here's a look at every team's odds for the No. 1 pick.

Team 1 > 14.0%

Team 2 > 14.0%

Team 3 > 14.0%

Team 4 > 12.5%

Team 5 > 10.5%

Team 6 > 9.0%

Team 7 > 7.5%

Team 8 > 4.5%

Team 9 > 4.5%

Team 10 > 4.5%

Team 11 > 1.8%

Team 12 > 1.7%

Team 13 > 1.0%

Team 14 > 0.5%

The Spurs are mathematically locked in for 12.5 percent chances at minimum. Barring they run the table the rest of their seven remaining games and the Charlotte Hornets go 0-6, they will receive their 14 percent share.

San Antonio is lacking top-shelf talent at the center position and French wonder kid Victor Wembanyama would gift coach Gregg Popovich with a projected franchise player as his career reaches its final chapter. 'Pop' is as acclimated with developing elite talent at the center position as any coach in NBA history and would create a mutually beneficial situation for the franchise and the 19-year-old.

Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell have shown signs of being valuable pieces on a winning team, and the incoming talent this summer will add to a burgeoning young nucleus.
