The San Antonio Spurs haven't won since Nov. 2 and things are getting bleak for the Silver and Black.

The team started off 3-2, but eight consecutive losses now have the team at 3-10 and in last place in the Western Conference.

However, the Spurs aren't in last place in NBA.com's latest power rankings. They currently sit at No. 26, one spot lower than last week's edition.

"It’s not about the results in San Antonio, but it would be nice if the results were better. The Spurs have lost nine straight games and now have three of the five worst losses (36 points or more) for any team this season," NBA.com writes.

"Last season, when they ranked 29th offensively and 30th defensively, was the first since they drafted Tim Duncan in 1997 in which the Spurs ranked in the bottom five on either end of the floor. Right now, they’re in the bottom two on both ends for the second straight season."

The teams that rank lower than the Spurs are the Portland Trail Blazers, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons.

Perhaps what's keeping the Spurs from being dead last is the fact that they have held leads in most of their losses on this current skid. However, they have been unable to maintain large, double-digit leads.

The Spurs will look to get back on track this week beginning with two games against the Los Angeles Clippers at home tonight and Wednesday. Then, they visit the previous two NBA champions in the Golden State Warriors (Fri.) and Denver Nuggets (Sun.).
