The San Antonio Spurs have had quite the week.

After an offensive explosion in a win against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday, the team lost a pair of heartbreaking overtime games against the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies. Then, the Spurs came back from a 24-point deficit to beat Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday to cap off a 2-2 week.

However, their .500 week didn't do the Spurs any favors in this week's power rankings from Sports Illustrated. The team now sits at No. 29, one spot lower than the previous edition.

"The Spurs have held their own over the last few weeks with a 5–5 record over their last 10 games," SI writes. "They beat the Magic by 18 last Monday behind Jeremy Sochan’s 29 points and 11 rebounds and downed the Hawks by eight on Sunday thanks to Keldon Johnson’s 29-point, 12-rebound double-double. In between those victories, San Antonio pushed Dallas and Memphis to overtime but couldn’t put either game away in the extra period."

The Spurs are back out on the road this week facing the New Orleans Pelicans tonight and the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow. Then, the team heads to the nation's capital to face the Washington Wizards on Friday and Beantown to play the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
