The San Antonio Spurs have been busy on the trade market.

In the past few weeks, they have made three separate deals, acquiring veterans Cedi Osman from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Reggie Bullock from the Dallas Mavericks and Cam Payne from the Phoenix Suns. However, none of these guys should get comfortable as the Spurs appear to remain busy making deals.

In a trade proposed by Bleacher Report, the Spurs would acquire Detroit Pistons big man Marvin Bagley III and two second-round picks in exchange for Bullock.

"Subbing out Bagley's deal for Bullock's expiring contract also drums up more flexibility ahead of next summer. Two seconds should be enough for the Spurs to eat the extra year. Bagley's contract is, for now, a net negative, but he's earning less than non-taxpayer mid-level money," Bleacher Report writes.

There's also a chance other Pistons could be available, like Alec Burks.

"If the Pistons need to sweeten the pot, an Alec Burks-for-Bullock swap makes comparable sense. They are set on ball-dominant players with Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, Ausar Thompson and Killian Hayes, and Bullock promises more defensive malleability," Bleacher Report said.

In a way to get additional assets, the Spurs are acting as a buffer in helping these cap-strapped teams save some money. It's a win for the other team because it saves some cash, but the Spurs are the big winners because they get assets that help now in veteran presences in the locker room and later when picks begin to stockpile, offering San Antonio more chances to hit in the draft.
