Sometimes, winning doesn't solve everything.

Despite experiencing a good season with a franchise where such a campaign rarely occurs, New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson yearns for a change of scenery.

Typically, liking a tweet isn't newsworthy unless someone screenshots it and announces it to the internet. Robinson liked a tweet referencing his situation in New York and the possibility of placing the disgruntled center in Dallas (Mavericks) or San Antonio (Spurs).

It's not merely fan speculation, as Robinson recently went on a mini-rant on his Instagram account. It's no secret Robinson wants out, as he yearns for more relevance in the offense.

Both aforementioned teams have centers but lack the rim protection Robinson provides. However, would they also commit to the seven-foot center with more touches? Historically, the San Antonio Spurs' attention span for frontcourt players favors such a move. Also, Robinson's contract makes it easy for San Antonio to match in a trade. With a $60 million contract for the next four seasons and his annual pay decelerating, that's a bargain deal for a rim-protecting big 24-year-old center.

San Antonio could take on Robinson's contract and still afford another significant free agent to fill out its roster. Aside from on-court fit, philosophically, Robinson's age doesn't disrupt San Antonio's rebuilding process. On paper, it makes sense. However, it's not a must-do move, as the Spurs are in no rush to make a trade only to get incrementally better.
