New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs: 3 Best Bets
After beating the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz, the San Antonio Spurs are looking to make it three straight wins tonight against the New York Knicks. The Knicks and Orlando Magic are locked in a fierce battle for home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference playoffs, so expect a tough effort from New York.
The Spurs lost to the Knicks in their only matchup of the season, but have been playing exceptionally well as of late behind the efforts of Devin Vassell and Jeremy Sochan.
Charles Bassey is out for the Spurs, and Keldon Johnson is questionable. Alec Burks is questionable for the Knicks, while OG Anunoby and Julius Randle are both out.

Our Picks
Safe pick: Victor Wembanyama OVER 20.5 points (-111)
Victor Wembanyama only scored 14 points against the Knicks in the previous matchup, but without Randle and Anunoby, the Knicks won't bring as much physicality as usual. Wembanyama has averaged 21.6 points over the last five games despite having multiple games of scoring under 15 points, so if he can get his game back on track he should be able to pass this line easily.
Opponent pick: Jalen Brunson OVER 28.5 points (-118)
Jalen Brunson scored 25 points against the Spurs and has only been better since. A first-time All-Star, Brunson is averaging 26.5 points over his last five games, and with the attention commanded by Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart, expect Sochan and Vassell to be a little overwhelmed on the defensive end.
Passing pick: Tre Jones OVER 6.5 assists (+100)
When the over/under has positive odds, usually that's enough to dissuade us from making it a "best bet." However, Tre Jones recorded five assists off the bench in the previous matchup and has averaged a whopping 6.6 assists over his last five games, so expect him to find the open man. It's just a matter of if the Spurs can hit their shots.
