The San Antonio Spurs were down 23 points on Friday night, but they weren't out despite having every reason to be. And they used that energy to pull off a massive comeback to stun the Denver Nuggets at home 121-120.

The Nuggets needed the win to keep control of the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, but the short-handed Spurs were looking to play spoiler. And they definitely succeeded.

The game came to a dramatic conclusion when Devonte' Graham hit a game-winning floater with 0.9 seconds to go to give the Spurs the lead, shocking the Nuggets, who failed to get the ball in-bounds on their final possession.

"I've been in a lot of games like this. I made some big buckets before but I think we got a shout-out guys," Graham said postgame. "[Sandro] Mamu[kelashvili] had an unbelievable game. Obviously, Vic [Wembanyama] been doing this all year. But we were down 25 [points] and Zach [Collins] came to the huddle and told us to pick up our energy up. I think that was our turning point and we went on that run from there."

The Spurs had every reason to mail it in and start thinking about what they will be doing to pass the time while the Nuggets and the rest of the league is fighting in the playoffs. However, they want to finish their season strong and give themselves some momentum heading into the offseason.

A win like this one certainly helps that cause.

The Spurs' season comes to an end on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
