3. BORREGO TO PELICANS

A former member of the San Antonio Spurs coaching staff has a new job.

According to ESPN, Borrego is becoming the associate head coach for the New Orleans Pelicans, joining Willie Green's staff.

Borrego coached under Gregg Popovich with the Spurs from 2003-10 and 2015-18.

4. NBA FINALS GAME 2

After dropping Game 1, the Miami Heat look to leave the Mile High City with a split and seize momentum in the series. However, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have yet to lose at home this postseason and will look to keep that streak alive.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. on ABC.

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The San Antonio Spurs are 18 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where Victor Wembanyama will officially become the newest member of the franchise with the No. 1 overall pick.
