In this story:

1. THE NEXT LEBRON?

"Despite not having played a single game in the NBA, Wembanyama has been touted almost as highly as LeBron James was 20 years ago. He’s already been given the task of becoming as great as some of the biggest names in basketball history — less he bears the weight of being a "disappointment"."

2. SPURS SECOND ROUND OPTIONS

"This year's NBA Draft is headlined by the San Antonio Spurs, who should take Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 pick in two weeks' time.

"However, the Spurs also have two second-round picks to work with at Nos. 33 and 45."

3. WEMBY'S NEXT GAME

Victor Wembanyama and Metropolitans 92 faces off against Monaco in Game 1 of the LNB Pro A Finals on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT.

4. NUGGETS VS. HEAT GAME 4

After reclaiming homecourt advantage with a Game 3 win, the Denver Nuggets look to do it again against the Miami Heat in tonight's Game 4. A Nuggets win would give them an opportunity to clinch the championship in Monday's Game 5 back in Denver, making this an extremely important game for the Heat.

Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on ABC.

5. DRAFT COUNTDOWN

The San Antonio Spurs are 13 days away from the 2023 NBA Draft, where Victor Wembanyama will officially become the newest member of the franchise with the No. 1 overall pick.

Coverage begins on Thursday, June 22 at 7 p.m. CST on ESPN.
