The Philadelphia 76ers are ending their head coaching search, hiring former Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse just weeks after firing Doc Rivers.

Nurse, 55, has coached the Raptors since 2018, leading them to a 227-163 record and the 2019 NBA championship.

Now, Nurse is set to lead reigning MVP Joel Embiid and the Sixers, who haven't been to the Eastern Conference Finals since 2001.
