San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies: 3 Best Bets
Whether the San Antonio Spurs win or lose tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, it will have a positive effect on their lottery standing in some form. If the Spurs lose, their own draft lottery odds will improve slightly as they continue to slide down the standings, but if they win and beat Memphis, the Grizzlies will drop closer to the Toronto Raptors.
If the Grizzlies pass the Raptors on the way to the bottom, the Spurs are more likely to end up with two lottery picks, as the Raptors owe the Spurs a pick protected 1-6. If the Spurs can nab that pick and draft their own top talent, then the rebuild will likely come to an end sooner rather than later.
Both teams have loaded injury reports. The Spurs will be without Jeremy Sochan, Devin Vassell, Cedi Osman, Charles Bassey, Dom Barlow, and Keldon Johnson. Memphis won't play Ja Morant, Marcus Smart, Ziaire Williams, John Konchar, Derrick Rose, Vince Williams, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., Luke Kennard, Santi Aldama, and Yuta Watanabe. Lamar Stevens and Jake LaRavia are doubtful.

Our Picks
Safe pick: Tre Jones OVER 7.5 assists (-105)
Tre Jones is averaging 6.8 dimes over his last five games, but he has posted an average of four per game against the Grizzlies. That said, Julian Champaignie had the hot hand in the double OT loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, and Victor Wembanyama will have the paint to himself, so expect Jones to have no trouble finding the open man.
Scoring pick: Malaki Branham OVER 16.5 points (-120)
For the first time this season, Malaki Branham makes an apperance in our best bets. He is averaging 16.4 points over his last five games and has not cracked five points once against Memphis this season, but with basically every Grizzly out and a team option this summer, expect him to give his all.
Fun pick: Victor Wembanyama to record a triple double (+950)
Why not? If not tonight, when? There is no one to stop him from getting the necessary points and rebounds down low, so it's only a matter of if he gets ten blocks or ten assists. Either is a possibility, as he has improved his passing chops over the season, but against an inexperienced Memphis team, he might be able to pin the ball against the glass a few times too many. This pick is just for fun, but the +950 odds make it hard to pass up.
