Will all of the new players coming in, namely Victor Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs are bound to make a lot of improvements this season. That includes the watchability and excitement that the Spurs will bring to their televised games.

ESPN writer Zach Lowe recently posted his 12th annual NBA League Pass Rankings where he ranks every NBA team in terms of watchability. The Spurs found themselves at No. 14 on the list, ahead of every team in the Southwest Division except the Dallas Mavericks.

This is much higher on the list than the Spurs were ranked at least year, as prior to last season, Lowe ranked the Spurs at 28, a whole 14 spots lower than he ranked them on the list that he released on Tuesday.

The most obvious reason for this jump on the watchability list is the limitless potential that Wembanyama has. Along with the other new players on the Spurs, Wemby makes the team much more exciting to watch than last season, as evidenced by the jump in televised games the team has this season compared to last season. Lowe wrote more about the impact Wemby can have in his explanation for the Spurs' ranking.

"He is everywhere at once," Lowe writes in reference to Wembanyama's defense. "Even guarding around the arc, he is so fast and long, and with such preternatural instincts, he can insert himself into the action whenever he wants. Just by spreading his arms, Wembanyama obliterates passing windows across half the floor. Opposing ball handlers eye him, wondering what pass is safe. Such distracted hesitation kills possessions."

This otherworldly potential that Wembanyama brings will make the Spurs an absolute blast to watch this season. They will have another chance to show how exciting they are to watch as a team when they play the Houston Rockets on Wednesday in a rematch from the Spurs loss to them Monday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
