The San Antonio Spurs are continuing their losing streak after a 129-120 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Friday night inside the Frost Bank Center.

The Spurs scored the first nine points of the game, and it appeared momentum was on their side. In the game's first six minutes, San Antonio's advantage doubled to 18 with a 23-5 lead. Then, Sacramento began to dig out of its hole. By the end of the first quarter, the Spurs led by just two points. At halftime, the two teams were tied.

The Kings jumped out to a big lead of their own in the third quarter, starting the second half on a 22-6 run. But then the Spurs went ahead and leveled the playing field. At the end of the third quarter, the Kings led by just one point.

It all came down to the final seven minutes of the game, where both teams were tied at 110 ... but then the Kings pulled away for good. Sacramento's experience helped propel them to victory, improving to 2-0 in the In-Season Tournament. Meanwhile, the Spurs lost their third In-Season Tournament game and are now on a seven-game losing streak.

The Kings were led by De'Aaron Fox, who scored a season-high 43 points. Domantas Sabonis added 27 points of his own. For the Spurs, it was Zach Collins who led the way, scoring 28 points. Victor Wembanyama also looked strong with 27 points of his own.

The Spurs are back in action tomorrow night when the Memphis Grizzlies come to town. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT inside the Frost Bank Center.
