Victor Wembanyama is one of the most hyped prospects since LeBron James, and he will have a huge impact as soon as he checks into his first NBA game. But the other key players on the San Antonio Spurs will play just as big of a role this season.

Devin Vassell is one of the fastest rising stars in the entire NBA, and it comes as a result of his hard work and determination. He was selected with the 11th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft for his potential on both offense and defense. After his 18 points per game season this past year, Vassell is quickly becoming more than just a three-and-D player.

Keldon Johnson is in sort of the same boat as Vassell, as he has continued to improve quickly since he was drafted in 2019. Although Johnson's three-point percentage took a dip a bit last year, he still led the team in scoring with 22 points per game. And with opposing teams destined to be keyed in on Wembanyama, this season could see that scoring average go up even more.

One final player that could be destined to make a jump this season is Tre Jones. His scoring average doubled last season, as did his assist average. Tre finished last season top 10 in assist to turnover ratio with an impressive 4.1. Having a threat like Wembanyama could further help Tre's assist numbers and propel him past his brother Tyus, who has been near the top of that least each of the past couple of years.

The arrival of Victor Wembanyama is going to change everything for the Spurs this season on both ends of the court. Not only will he shine individually, but his presence and threat to score will create a lot of opportunities for other players to shine and break out this season.
