Even though he hasn't played a game in the NBA, many are in awe of San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama and his talent.

Some have declared his ceiling higher than any player to enter the league since LeBron James 20 years ago.

CBS Sports also has high hopes for Wembanyama, ranking him at No. 58 in its top 100 list before even stepping on an NBA court.

"Ranking Wembanyama before his debut is an extraordinarily difficult task ... because we've never seen anyone like him play in the NBA before," CBS Sports wrote. "The range of outcomes here is so wide that Wembanyama might be No. 1 on this list before long.

"His combination of physical tools and tangible skills is unparalleled in basketball history. The only question is how long it will take for him to figure out how to use them on the NBA stage."

Standing at 7-4 and possessing a non-center like talent of ball handling and shooting, the rookie has potential to be the most unique star in the modern-NBA. The only drawback is the risk that comes with his slender frame, which could cause serious issues if he isn't careful.

Luckily, the 19-year-old is actively involved with his health and hasn't shown any concerning qualities off the court, which bodes well for his reliability.

Being placed in the top spot on a league-wide scale is no easy task, but again, that's what makes Wembanyama special. His ranking — across numerous lists — only proves that.
