Welcome to another edition of buy or sell, where we evaluate some of the hottest takes and topics discussed among Phoenix Suns fans.

Take: Bol Bol should stay in the lineup

Bol had been lightly used (to say the least) to begin the season - that is until New Year's Day against the Portland Trail Blazers

Suns head coach Frank Vogel had previously promised Bol would receive his shot to push into the rotation at some point. To that point, Bol previously failed to gain much traction in the small sample sizes he was handed.

That changed when the talented big man averaged 12.5 points and 7 rebounds in the two games he played significant minutes in against the Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers

Not only was he putting up respectable numbers - he brought a jolt of energy to the court that's been sorely needed.

Many in the Suns community had become skeptical of the viability of holding onto Bol if there was no plan to incorporate him in rotations, though he has earned some time to cement himself as a fixture in the coming weeks.

(Bol is set to return tonight against the Lakers after missing two games due to an ankle sprain)

Verdict: Buy

Take: Suns should use Jusuf Nurkic in trade discussions

This topic of discussion isn't quite cut and dry as Nurkic has largely exceeded expectations on a much more economical contract than his predecessor.

The problem is the major perceived weakness the big man had coming into the season (lack of athleticism) has hurt the Suns on both ends through various points.

While Nurkic is largely a positive on offense, his lack of explosive athleticism and weaker play finishing (compared to some other bigs) has made it easier for opposing defenses to get to Devin Booker and Kevin Durant's favorite spots on the court.

That isn't a shot towards Nurkic in any way- he has been a clear positive for the most part.

Phoenix just needs someone who's an antithesis of Nurkic to balance out a rather thin big man rotation. Bol is more built like a guard than big.

Key targets could include Orlando's Goga Bitadze, Chicago's Andre Drummond, and perhaps even a reunion with former Suns C Bismack Biyombo.

Verdict: Sell on trading Nurkic, buy on shopping for dependable backup

Take: Suns need more three-point attempts

The Suns simply just need to find an identity.

Phoenix is a wildly inconsistent offense with two of the ten best scorers in the league. That shouldn't be the case.

They shoot threes at a pretty decent rate - but don't take a ton - unless the offense is struggling and the squad forces up poor shots.

Phoenix doesn't really have a consistent shot diet as Booker and Durant are taking ridiculously tough shots when they shouldn't have to and there's far too much setting from the team in general.

The Suns are getting to the rim at a higher rate than years past, but still not nearly enough.

At the end of the day, the Suns' offense is truly a freelance, free-for-all enterprise and hopefully things will be put together as the big three get more on-court time together as a unit.

Verdict: Suns need to shoot more threes, but also need to strategically take good shots and consistently stay in a flow.
