The NBA season is right around the corner, and thus fantasy basketball season is upon us.

When formulating the perfect draft gameplan, stars such as Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo will surely be at the top of any pecking order.

However, you shouldn't discount any Phoenix Suns in the early portions of your draft.

Devin Booker and Chris Paul bring their own respective talents to the table to rack up the points, while Deandre Ayton could easily outperform expectations and turn into a stat sheet stuffer come time for play.

Five Suns found themselves ranked in NBA.com's Top 150 fantasy basketball players for the upcoming season. Here's where they landed:

No. 15: Devin Booker

Devin Booker

"Devin Booker, PHX, G: Despite the MVP buzz, Booker’s 2021-22 campaign was actually only his third-best from a fantasy perspective. That said, he’s young enough to continue improving and could take on more usage as Chris Paul ages."

Ranked Above: Darius Garland

Ranked Below: LaMelo Ball

No. 28: Chris Paul

Chris Paul

"Chris Paul, PHX, G: Paul has improbably flipped the script on his health as he ages into his late-30s. He averaged 10.8 assists and 1.9 steals and ranked 20th on a per-game basis. His usage will presumably decline as he gets older, but he still feels like a relatively safe option despite risk factors."

Ranked Above: Anthony Edwards

Ranked Below: Pascal Siakam

No. 51: Deandre Ayton

DeAndre Ayton

"Deandre Ayton, PHO, C: The center is coming off a career-high 17.2 PPG in addition to his 10.2 RPG on an efficient 63.4 FG% and 74.6 FT%. It remains to be seen how much he can scale up his production and usage, but he’s a high-floor option at the position in fantasy."

Ranked Above: Jordan Poole

Ranked Below: OG Anunoby

No. 68: Mikal Bridges

Mikal Bridges

"Mikal Bridges, PHO, F: While he can’t be more than a fourth option as long as Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are around, Bridges continues to be one of the premier three-and-D options in the NBA."

Ranked Above: Lonzo Ball

Ranked Below: Jalen Green

No. 143: Cameron Johnson

Cameron Johnson

"Cameron Johnson, PHO, F: Johnson notched career highs in virtually every category in 2021-22, including hitting 2.5 threes per game at a 42.5 percent clip."

Ranked Above: Kevin Huerter

Ranked Below: Jonathan Kuminga
