Welcome to the first-ever NBA mailbag on Inside the Suns. These will be posted weekly, every Monday. This week's mailbag features two questions, one about the Suns and one about the Sixers.

Could the Suns be the best low-seed in the playoffs ever?

Deandre Ayton

The Phoenix Suns have been slipping in the NBA rankings due to the absence of Devin Booker. With Booker this season, the Suns have gone 18-11. Furthermore, he was playing while injured in some of these games. With Booker's return nearing, the Suns will look to get back into the heart of the playoff picture. This year, the Western Conference is wide open, as there are only six teams with a winning record. If the Suns can make a crucial move at the trade deadline and give Booker a true second option, the Suns will be a scary team heading into the playoffs. If they are either of the play-in seeds, they will be terrifying for the No. 1 or No. 2 seed.

When will the Philadelphia 76ers fire Doc Rivers?

Doc Rivers

Rivers has become increasingly unpopular in Philadelphia throughout his tenure with the Sixers. While he's had some exhilarating wins with the team, he's lost games with his coaching. His decision-making and rotations are extremely questionable at times. Rivers will run all bench lineups in close games and let the other team take the lead. This is just one of many examples that tremendously hurt the Sixers. Despite frequent murmurs of a Rivers firing, nothing ever comes out of it. Realistically, I'd give Rivers 1-2 more years with the Sixers, and if they don't win a championship, he's out.
