NBA Twitter Gives Devin Booker Props After Another 50-Point Game

Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker did it again.
Heading into Saturday night's meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans, Booker hadn't reached 20 points in his last four games.
Still working his way back from a hamstring strain, Booker found himself (along with Phoenix) down by as much as 24 against New Orleans.
Then, Booker took it upon himself by scoring 25 points straight to push the Suns past the Pelicans 118-114.
Booker finished with 58 points, the fifth time he's reached 50 points or more and the second time he's done so this season.
NBA Twitter had some praise for Booker on another strong scoring night:

Devin Booker isn’t load managing in a year when a lot of stars are, he’s routinely putting one of the top teams in the league on his back and he occasionally just puts up 58 points for fun. So again — whether he wins it or not — that’s an MVP candidate.

Book has reached 12,000 career points, becoming the sixth-youngest player in NBA history to do so, joining:

Like, I Truly hope @suns fans realize you have a Player, a person who has done soooo much for this Organization, this City! @DevinBook had every reason early on to Bolt and he chose to stay. To grow as a player, a person and embrace the city, the state in a way few ever have!
