The Phoenix Suns have a duo fit for a blockbuster movie, according to Deandre Ayton.

The Phoenix Suns are now 3-0 in the Kevin Durant era, and his latest performance against the Dallas Mavericks included a game-winning shot with just over ten seconds left.

Durant led both teams in scoring in Phoenix's win over Dallas with 37 points. He's also hit totals of 23 and 20 while on a minutes restriction after working his way back from a MCL sprain.

Yet Durant hasn't been the only one who has thrived with his arrival, as nearly everybody on the Suns has been elevated.

Perhaps one of the biggest beneficiaries has been Devin Booker, who has received less attention defensively and more open looks since Durant's arrival.

Booker's scored 30+ points in each of his last three games, as him and Durant combined for 73 points in their most recent victory.

"Man, him and Book, that's a movie. It's like a video game. It just takes so much load off of us man, makes our job easy," Deandre Ayton told The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin after the game.

Durant started 6-6 and the Suns looked fairly strong in their road test against Dallas despite being down by as many as eight points and fighting through a back-and-forth game in the final two quarters of play.

Durant said he hopes things get back to normal.

“I feel like we all bring energy to the game,” he said (h/t Duane Rankin). “I’m just another guy that’s bringing something different. I’m sure there’s some level of excitement because something new has come into the building, but I’m sure after a while, all that stuff will wear off and get back to normal.”

With 17 games until the postseason begins, the Suns will continue to fine tune their lineup and figure out which rotations are best in their new era of basketball.

Ayton said the duo of Booker/Durant is like a movie. Phoenix hopes to have a Hollywood ending with confetti and a parade.
